I saw Tori live at the State Theatre in
St. Petersburg in the early '90s, and had
one of the most incredible spiritual
experiences of my life.
She's phenomenally gifted and absolutely
mesmerizing. If you are not yet familiar
with her work, you're in for a rare treat.
Singer, song-writer, composer, musician,
and muse, Tori has been compared (both
favorably and otherwise) to Kate Bush,
which I think is both complimentary and
also clumsy pigeon-holing.
This song has particular significance for
me as it speaks to the typically imbalanced
and imperfect nature of love.
