Hothouse Flowers - Don't go (extended promo) 1988

I was first introduced to Hothouse Flowers on a mix tape from
my friend Timm, an exchange student from Germany. I was
instantly hooked and wore the tape out!

There's a strangely curious mix of easily accessible sound
and yet very hard to identify genre. The Irish group, which has
been around since the mid-1980s, has a unique sound mixing
traditional Irish music, jazz, gospel, and more in a seamless merging.

I included the more pop-oriented "Don't Go" here, but check
out some of their moodier songs too. They have a great range,
and some amazing spot-on lyrics.

Many of their songs have an inspirational bent to them, including
"It'll be easier in the Morning," another favorite.

That song title is also the name of the band's official website,
seen below.
