Got turned on to these guys by a German friend who
sent a mix tape including them in the late 1980s.
Loved the political bent, the heavy metal vibe,
and the unapologetic tone of the underclass anthems.
Still relevant, all these years later, even if the video
is dated. New Model Army has provided me with
20+ years of musical support and inspiration. They're
original hard core, and with lyrics like "Nobody
needs morality when there isn't enough to eat" it's
not a wonder.
