I was so completely in love with this when it came out!
Patti's tremendous talent is sometimes eclipsed by her
outrageous pageantry, but this powerful strutting anthem
deserved every bit of sass and attitude she had!
When I was down and out and rejected from my
high school, my friends, and my own family, this song
gave me a defiant strength I could only emulate at
the time, until I discovered it within! Belt it, Patti!
Today's flashback is timeless inspiration!
