No slight whatsoever to Elaine Paige, but Miss Idina is a powerhouse, too,
and I couldn't find an acceptable quality recording of the original version.
(Needed to spotlight Idina anyway; she's so fabulous!)
I love the stark reality of this song, only one of many great songs that make
up the incredible musical, "Chess." Still, this one speaks to my heart as the
most pragmatic of revelations; "you're on your own, sister--get used to it!"
