As much as I love M, one of her less desirable early songs was ole' "La Isla
Bonita," which many had hated from the start and still others tired of from its
endless repetitive cycling on the radio. (Many still call for its banning, since you
can hear it on endless 'easy-listening' loops in many doctors' offices and while
stuck in elevators!)
So imagine my oh-so-pleased surprise when my girl (Naya Rivera, a.k.a.
'Santana') did a hopping, modern, remake of the song for the 'Spanish music'
episode last season (with superstar duet partner, guest Ricky Martin!)
It's fast-paced, showy, fun, and sexy as hell! This show really can perform
miracles; this time around, they raised the dead!
