I always loved this song, finding it a raw and bizarre alternative to the
general pop radio offerings, with a mix of funk, rap, and dance that was
pretty fresh back when.
An addictive beat, a gruff and groovy voice (way before Miss Minaj hit
it big, and a great amalgamation of influences created a truly unique vibe.
Some of her work, like "Buffalo Stance," received a lot of play and got
a lot of chart action. But it was involvement with projects like Red, Hot, and Blue
that made her a name in the industry, rather than just another one-hit wonder.
